Customers have to know the number of words in their translation project. Translators may only give their offers by nowing the number of words in the project.

Microsoft Word program can be used as word counter.

Likewise Sun Microsystems OpenOffice Writer can be used as word counter.

If you need to find the number of words in printed documents like books, you can use the formula for estimation: ( avarage number of words in a line X number of lines on the page X number of pages)
